DocumentationIntroduction

PyCafe

Py.cafe is a platform that allows you to create, run, edit, and share Python applications directly in your browser. There’s no need for any installation; it works with just a single click.

For whom

Developers

For Python developers who want to demonstrate their library with live code, communicate on issues with live code, or test their branch without having to manage infrastructure or pay for cloud services. Read further if you are a developer.

Teachers

Teachers can share code examples with their students, and students can run the code in their browser without having to install anything.

Bloggers and influencers

Bloggers and influencers can share code examples with their audience, who can run the code in their browser without having to install anything. Each project has a pretty URL and has a preview image that can be shared on social media. PyCafe links render pretty on X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.

Startups

Startups can use PyCafe to demonstrate their product to potential customers, investors, and new hires. PyCafe can be used to create a live demo of your product that can be shared with anyone.

Companies

Companies can have their own PyCafe instance to share code examples among their employees, or to demonstrate their product to potential customers, investors, and new hires. We will offer a self-hosted version of PyCafe that can be installed on your own infrastructure in the near future.

Data scientists

If you have visual results to share with your colleagues, you can use PyCafe to create a live dashboard that can be shared with anyone.
